need some help on what to do.

okay so i have decided how i am going to build my next car/toy. I would like to have a 300-400hp toy that is not going to be a daily driver. now how i am going to do it. i want to purchase a motor and build the motor then purchase the car. now i need to decided first what motor. i am stuck between stay with fwd (cheaper tends to be) but would love awd or rwd. and it needs to be 4 doors i do like some wagons. now i need help on figuring out what i should build. i would like to hear some ideas. now i am going to be doing this over time. and will probably invest a total of close to 6 grand by the time its done. from motor car/shell suspension everything. i need it to be 4 door and not soemthing that will require the risk of things breaking alot in that 300-400 hp goal. and turbo is a must. so i would like to know some ideas of what route i should go.

see i would love to be able to have a 01-03 wrx wagon but i dont think i would be able to achieve that with that budget and have a more goal of 400-500 hp with a wrx wagon.

400-500 with a wrx would require upgrading the turbo, manifold, external wastegate, tune, exhaust, dp, meth injection(in most cases)

my friend had an FP Green STi, it made 432 to the wheels I believe, absolute animal, but for 6 grand youre gonna have one solid challenge right there in getting anything to 300-400hp
