G23 Build

Hey Ive been looking to do a frank swap for some time now. I have the JDM f23a and im stuck between a few things.... if i do the swap....

b or d series tranny?
low comp and boost or high comp and supercharge? (it will fit the h22 head i checked)
just an all motor high comp g23?
or just say fuck it and do a all bisi product f23 high comp all motor build?

I dont like the tranni in my car now. the gearing in it wouldnt b right for power. i have a 99 accord btw.

but back to the b or d tranni? bisi makes f2d and f2b kits... any sug on which one?

these are interesting builds n by no means easy once u get started be aware of that,the only 1 i know done currectly was bolis in a ef (youtube it) using k20 itr pistons on the f23 rods an a few things in the head managed 240+hp all-motor...tranny comes down to ur build boost/all motor n keep in mind how easy/cheap it is if u ever need a replacement n go from there

there is a guy on here Girony i beleive knows all about these swaps and builds ..you can actually contact Bisimoto and ask for advice and prices ..btw i heard the F rods are doo doo just saying ..also look in to boosting it ..these motors are sleeper .i have one

yea juan aka g-irony knows his f's and also got alot of info from bisi,kaizen speed an a few other builders,other then that only other dude in ct who's touched these motors is dave aka daves tuning,his f-bomb accord wagon put in work back in the day lol..

thanks for the thoughts. i already planned on upgrading the whole bottom and top end so the f-rods wont b used anyway and neither will the stock valvetrain. i have heard its a pain in the ass build but well worth it in the long run. i read in a tuner mag (idk what one exactly) that a build g23 and build k20 will go toe-to-to with oneanother and the g is only 1/4 the price....

Yea that was the purpose of h2b etc, make as much power at half the cost...

i have also heard some mixed reviews on the f23 block... idk if its just ppl not taking the time to MAKE SURE the block is good or what...

Im not sure if u said integra type r piston it came out blank in post but they dont work u need the type s rsx piston they work and use the k20a2 bearing they work fine too and i been doing even more resreach on it and the k intake manifold fits that i heard but not checked yet
