hey what's good ctv... i have a 95 eg hatch.. i just pulled the old engine, but i wanna stay sohc for da summer.. i'm stuck on what swap to do... the z6 or f series(accord engine 2.2) my main concern is there a big difference in difficulty between completing one swap over the other...? i mean i can pay 850 for full accord engine n newington used auto wants 1100 for a z6 wit SI tranny... idk just looking for some opinions on what would be cheaper/less complicated in the long run... keep in mind i'm trying to get my baby back on the road around May.. thanks

he doesnt have a CTV account but yuh gotta get an adapter plate as if you are going h2b, same with the mounts, u use the same axles as the tranny you are using also

stay D series, obviously you're new at this. the f22 swap will cost more and be much harder for a person such as yourself. with the z6 you can drop it in and go. if you were more experienced i would tell you to go f22 get the DOHC head put it on there, get and f2b kit and put a little boost on the f series but that is not the case. however for the price you're going to pay you can just put an LS swap in the car and put a vtec head on it later on in life. just my $0.02Honda sucks. Over priced junk.

Either stay with Z6 for affordability wise. The F22 is extremely close in HP numbers but more torque from the F22. I feel the only time you stick an F or H in a civic it should be a F2B or H2B set-up. Unfortunately it is much more expensive.
