Engines for a ef hatch ?

Looking for a engine for my ef hatch, but want something I can drop RIGHT in.

I was hoping someone on here can give me an idea or point me in the right direction on any engine that can be just dropped into the engine bay, start up and go.

Don't want to change the axles, or ecu, wiring harness, or anything like that.

I know the stock d15 will fit, but any other engines ??

Answered my own question because I knew it would fit...If i knew about any other engine fitting I wouldn't post

Guessing the stock d15 is the only 1, from the 1st 2 response's...

guess I will continue building the b16 and wait to install it...Reason I asked so I wouldn't have to wire anything up....Gets annoying after wiring up vw's for so long

Single jingles are the only one that will just drop in but its not that hard to change thd motor mounts for.a b 18 to drop in its worth it

For a EF a b swap is more involved then eg ek. Wiring for fuel injection, mounts, shorten the linkage or crx sir linkage, spindles, axels, ecu. It's not just a simple drop in with mounts

get a b16a first gen with wire harness, ecu, shift linkage, and mounts and your good
