Anybody have tips on keeping adjustable cam gears from slipping (other than using the proper amount of tq). I am just wondering because the ones I have (fidanza's w/ 5 nuts/studs) are known to slip and if there is a way to fix this without buying new ones I'd like to give it a go.
I have been thinking about machining the old hardware out and getting some bigger stuff or using loctite but the first would probably cost more than a better gear set and the latter could be messy and not work. Thanks!
