  • How much does a tune up cost?

I plan on keeping my TL over this winter and I figured I might as well do the tune up on it soon since it's almost has 195,000 miles. I want to change coil packs too, but how much does replacing a timing belt, water pump, I don't think I'll be needing a new head gasket? Correct me if I'm wrong.. What else would need to be changed and I'm just curious if any one on here would know the cost? Gonna do this after the new year so any info I'll appreciate, thanks,

Oyyy I don't plan on going to Honda or Acura, I know of a good reputable shop in Milford I was hoping to drop the car off at.. I mean unless Honda would be a better choice??

Your shop in milford will be fine if they know what they are doing. i would just supply your own parts. I payed 180 for the timing belt waterpump and serptine belt from honda.

i wouldnt even touch the headgasket or coils unless they go bad..the timing and waterpump are good for u since u have alot of miles on the car..definetly change your oil, filter, spark plugs, tranny fluid cuz its most likely auto, fresh antifreeze..i kno that VIP carwash n lube, have a machine that will flush n refill your tranny fluid but idk about the cost

I might just buy the parts and bring them to a shop... Tranny is still fresh there are only 15,000 miles on it so far! But I'll look into the trans flush too just incase because I know they aren't friendly. I'll also stop by Honda and get an estimate by them thanks guys
