see thats where im coming in for advice.. everyone says either build it or go with stock b16... why should i put the stock 1.6L head on my stock 1.8? what would i gain? and how does that compare to a built gsr head? any good parts list i should refer to?

Gsr is the strongest. If you build both top and bottom end it won't matter any way. B16 head revs way higher than a gsr block is made to. Just something to consider

lol rebuild you stock head and your good. you wont gain any thing from puttin a b16 head on but maybe a small bit of more compression out of it. becaust the CC is smaller then the gsr. and you wont be able to run the gsr intake so it will look cleaner and maybe flow a bit better. rev high well i dought it and why would you want to rev a gsr high just because you put a b16 head on? the lower end can only handle waht it was ment to.
