What is it Ls or GSR cuz they are two different swaps... But if you have a
B18C1 blook i would go wit a B16 head. One more thing what really happen to you OEM head in the first place?
becuase its JDM!! It has to be better!

Bro just rebuild the gsr head...the Gsr head is the best head for the Gsr block which is why Honda put it together in the first place. There isn't much difference between the bseries vtec heads unless you're upgrading valetrain/cam and doing a valve job

the head swap bumps compression ratio slightly higher, creating a more powerful and racy engine. It also provides more flow. This combination makes not only more power, but improved throttle response and what most people don't realize is a higher revving capability. this is very good because instead of up shifting to something like 5,800rpm, you hit something like 6,200rpm, this is closer to maximum torque and horsepower providing a great deal of power, right when you need it up shifting.

head is off and ready to be diag/cleaned up. #4 exhaust port is gross. as well as the piston top. only cylinder with oil/carbon visibly wet/gunked up. cylinder head bolt #10 stripped out the block as well... waitin for my mech to come take a look before i send everything out and make the next step...

X2. only thing different between b16 and b18c1 head is that there is slightly more compression in the c1 head. I would just build the GSR head, then boost i!! G/L on whatever you choose, just remember, you get what you pay for.
