i recently decided that i want to build up my engine to atleast 400-450hp.....I'm nto to sure how to reach that amount and i dont want to blow anything so im curious what is suggested

for a simple 400 - 450 build
B18c Block
Stock bore, re hon?? small over bore??w/e you want
9.2 comp, forged piston
ACL Bearings
Eagle rods
Block guard
Cosmetic headgasket
ARP Studs
Micro polish crank & balance
Stock head
MSD or STOCK ign system
750 - 850cc
Turbo between a SC 60-1, Garret super 60, Garret gt35r, AND GOOD TUNING!!
thats a nice low budget build for the 400 range pump gas, and no you dont need sleeves! if your planning on staying at this power level.
Now for a good high hp build simple but pricy
B18 G/E sleeved block, 2.0 Bore
Eagle rods, Manely turbo stuff rods
Forged piston, 9.5 comp, 9.8 comp
J/G, or JE crank
Cosmetic head gasket
Titanuim ret
dual springs
vavle guides,seals
custom cams, Lots of chocies
titanuim vavles
2-6 bong catchcan
1600cc
dual pumps
motec ign system
Custom machining, so know what you want and find a good shop to do it.
If your building a motor with 5 - 8k into the block and head i dont think i have to stress the fact on what bolt ons to use and what brands to buy if your at this level you should know better, the 50 $ you save on egay could break you entire setup dont be cheap.
A build with this simliar parts built properly should see 700+whp with pro tuner, race gas
Snails GT40r, GT42r, SC62, S67 (25 - 38 psi) you'l love it!

go all motor!!! if you can handle it gsrs cant hold boost watch a 8k dollar build
gsr pistons go threw the head, all motor buy a hatch and a b16 head. poor mans type r
