if you do the same setup with a ls. then the same exact setup with a vtec head you will make more power with vtec.

do a b16 or itr head. gsr raises the compression. lthe ower the compression the better for boost
          Honda sucks. Over priced junk.

i bought dual springs, titanium retainers, an a skunk2 intake for a b18 will i still be able to use those on the b16 head (probably a stupid question) an will i have to do anything to my block seeing it was a non v-tec motor. im building the motor pistons, rods, valves, an crank are all gonna be forged. The only thing im not doing is re-sleeving it but i have a block guard.

you cant use the manifold on a b16 head or gsr.. if the manifold is for the ls head it will only fit ls or b20, ls vtec turbo is straight but u can put down some good power ls turbo.. depends on what you want i was making around 250 bone stock motor on 11pounds 50 trim turbo. fun car to drive but if you want more then you need vtec head or just go gsr longblock.
