ls/v's only has three weaknesses 1. bi-metal stock bearings,(ls has the weakest bearings honda ever made). 2. 8200+ redlines.. stocks rods don't like that shit. 3. factory rod bolts.. besides that there ain't no real problem. stock rods are good for the job anyways.100 Pennies make a Dollar, The same applies for HP

to be honest gsr/b16 block is not a good set up....1.6!!! not much to rave about there. and still to this day lsvtec set ups are or can be a powerful and fun set up when done right. people cheap out on them or dont know what they are doing that causes shit to blow. but ANY motor/set up is only as reliable as the builder and the parts going into the build. I dont care if its H, single, B...any set up!
My boy in PA has a 226whp 1.8 lsvtec running LOW 13's...he daily drives it, AND it consistently see's 9200 RPM'S!!!!Team T&W
Winning is the only option
