okay. so im gonna be building a ls vtec motor. and i have the Chilton repair manuals for both the B18A1 and B16A motors. and neither book tells me how to make sure the timing of the block is at TDC for Cylinder one, before i put the head on, as well with the head how do i go about making sure the cams and everything like valves will be set for TDC. been reading both books looking through everything trying to find something but i cant find shit. cause im gonna be putting a different crank (mine that came with block is a little chewed up) but ya. would like to know how to properly "time" both the head and block before i meet the two together.
