Need Help! Car keeps popping out of 2nd gear

I just got a 97 ex coupe and it keeps popping out of 2nd gear. I had the tranny fluid changed to synthetic and had a broken bushing on the shifter fixed, anyone got any input?

Holding it doesn't work all the time cuz sometimes it grinds and I still gotta put it in neutral and then back in second, besides getting a new tranny, there isn't another remedy?

a rebuild. then it will be able to take the abuse it was given.

This car doesn't have a vtec motor in it, how hard is it to do a rebuild

GM Synchromesh works wonders.. look it up, although it might be expensive

Do I just add that stuff or drain the fluid and fill it up with that?

Yeah, I heard of it, I told the guy that did the work on the tranny to get it but I guess wanted to go cheap, how much of I do it need?

Get 2, per shop manual 1.9qt is required for a transmission oil change.

Honestly, I couldn't tell u if it does, i don't know much about Honda, I'm tryin to learn though. But the car looks pretty much stock except for coilovers and a cold air intake.
