gsr springs

Will gsr springs and retainers work in a ls? and anybody shot peen their rods with good results?

i dont think vtec and non vtec valve train stuff is swappable at all, but i could be wrong. and from what i understand oem honda rods are shotpeened from the factory but that doesnt seem to stop people from having it done anyway
