I just bought a GS-R head that has been ported polished and has Brian Crower 1mm oversized valves. I would love to stick it on my car now, but I want to put together a whole motor and turbo setup. I want to use a b20 block to increase displacement and a type r tranny for the limited slip. The turbo setup I'm not sure of. Has anyone done this that has some tips?

i wouldnt turbo the b20...cylinder walls are waaaay to thin. and make sure the valves and cams in ur head is not high compression. but ur best bet is to stay all motor; which will still be a BEAST

yah for starters do some homework...the 1mm oversize vavles are nice but whatever block/pistion combo u do make sure its built buy a good shop..reason being u run a stock b20 block and that head ur going to have some valve to pistion clearance issues..whome ever does the build make sure they CLAY the motor to insure the valve / pistion clearance are good.

honda tuning did a b20 vtec on the cheap and the used ITR cams...made good power but they had valves hiting the pistions...have the valve releafs cut more to compisate for the 1mm oversived valve or get aftermarket pistions for use with yoiur valves...this is a comon setup..call a good company like JE/ares/etc and they could helpp yah...
