What does MSD Really DO

Instead of leaving useless comments, I will answer it for you. Basically a msd is used for launch control. It helps keep your Rpms stay where ever you want it to when you are at zero mph. You also have different selections of rpms to keep hold the rev at while at zero, and it's called a pill. Well I'm not to sure about the two step module but I know it makes a crazy bang after you turn the msd off! If anything maybe someone else will chime in with information instead of comments.

Maybe it was just me but my car did start faster when I had it. Then it failed on me so I took it out.

MSD has gone to shit over the last few years. The 6AL is a capacitive discharge box which almost doubles the voltage of a typical spark to about 120,000 volts and certain boxes have dual spark which fires two sparks for every ignition event.

The two step is retarded and only people who can't drive worth a shit use it because they think it makes them faster and makes cool noises. The only thing you need to launch a naturally aspirated car is the e-brake and your legs.

the 2 step is a ricer thing i guess you can do it all in a stock ECU if some one buys a mse for 2 step you on some drugs.

well from wat i heard its suppose to increase your torque more than ur power i had the 6al it wasnt faster actually i felt no difference but if everything is wired rite it wont fuk up never did on me
