  • Clutch problem

Thanks in advance for any responses. I changed my clutch about 2 months back. My clutch pedal just recently started having a problem. After I push it in to change gear it doesn't come all the way back up, it leaves maybe like a 1-2 inches. If I put my foot behind the pedal it will come right back up. ONE time i pressed it and it stayed to the floor till I pulled it back up. I have bleeded the master cylinder, I have checked for leaks. Would this be a sign that the master cylinder is starting to go? Thanks again

Sounds like bad master cylinder. Check inside at the seal of the master and shaft for any leaks.

This may be a dumb question but when u replaced the clutch were all the components new (pressure plate, clutch disc, throw out bearing and pilot bearing?) if not could be bad pressure plate

Check hard lines for any leak or remove the rubber boot on slave cylinder mounted on tranny to see if it's leaking

                Bad master or slave cylinder.
