D16y8 AT check engine codes p0700 p0740

I am reading codes for my transmission and it seems to be running just fine. People suggest I flush the transmission and replace the solenoid what do u guys think. Or do I need a new transmission

Try the fluid first, but if it's never been done, probably need a new tranny

Or just try a drain and fill. Shouldnt take more than 3 qts. The majority of the fluid will remain in the torque converter but itll definetely help out. Its safer than doing a complete flush
