Or anyone know anything about the dual stage vtec shit? Been looking at that but idk to much on it and I've looked it up but I couldn't find anything so I think people just don't use that dual stage vtec single cam at all

That's fine. If u get a y8 order yourself a z6 crankshaft and a set of bearings to match and some arp hardware. I have new arp rod bolts I'll sell u for cheap.

You could run a y8 head but I wouldn't use the bottom end they have oiling issues and spin bearings at high rpms more often then not. The dual stage vtec is a system made only for better gas mileage. It basically runs your engine on 2 valves per cylinder at low rpms, then switches to 4 valves per cylinder in the mid range, and finally switches to an aggressive cam at high rpms like any vtec system. To make it work correctly you need to get the JDM ecu made for that engine which is hard to find and runs like $900 last time I checked. Not really worth it in my opinion

They just need a z6 crank. The crank is the weak point. And yea what he said about the vtec e
