Can I pass emission test with aftermarket headers and o2 on a Sohc???

Emissions just changed exhaust rules not all stations are in effect with it but it says no stacks on truck will be allowed to be tested and no performance exhaust will be tested on car with a a list of pipe sizes that are not allowed

Got my four door emissions tested about 5 months ago.

D15b7 with eBay header, eBay 2.5 inch fart can and test pipe. I think you'll be okay.

Word just because I said headerS doesn't mean I have two..I have a 155b7 for now but putting a z6 in about a week but wanted to know if I can pass emissions with aftermarket headers with o2 the rest of exhaust is stock with universal thrush turbo muffler..does that explain enough for you guys...

You'll be fine if it's just a header. Even if you have a CEL, CELs don't matter if you're OBD1 because they can't be plugged into a DLC. OBD1 cars receive an ASM test. Which consists of a visual confirmation of a catalytic converter on the vehicle, a gas cap test to make sure it holds pressure, then they run the car on the dyno with an exhaust analyzer in the muffler.

So as long as you have a cat, and your car passes the exhaust and gas cap test you're good. I'm a testing inspector so I know lol.

Also so your readings don't come out too high (which shouldn't happen). When you bring it to the testing station tell the inspector or the person at the counter that the car is now a 1.6L instead of the 1.5L. If you have the swap done before you go.
