  • axle tranny problem/ help

so I just dropped a 95 D16z 6 motor into my 89 sedan. Reused the cable si tranny an cable clutch. finished all the wiring for the car put it all back together but my car will not roll with it in neutral. the car will start and sit there in neutral but I cannot move the wheels I don't know what the heck the problem is, could it be the dust washer in the hubs can anyone help

Axels not properly fit in. Or your clutch not aligned

I used the axles from a 92 to 95 Civic do you think this is what is causing the problem? One of my axles was messed up so I used to 92 to 95 ones. do you think if I remove the dust washer off the hub it might fix the problem. I'm sure the clutch is fine because I always use the clutch alignment tool

so after doing research I believe the 92 to 95 axles are definitely the wrong ones to be using I'm guessing they're a little bit longer and causing my hubs to bind up and that's why my wheels won't spin in neutral, I'm going to try to use the 89 stock axles I had does anybody else have any input?

I'm hoping I don't have to try Jesus, does that sound like that could be the problem I'm just trying to troubleshoot this before I go all the way up to New Britain from Danbury and then have to get the car towed
