d16a6 excessively high idle

got an 89 crx si with stock d16a6. just put a skunk2 pro series intake on and everything seemed fine. when i start it the rpm jumps to 4000 and keeps climbing. i checked the tps and the iac. when the iac is unplugged it runs lopey but doesnt over revv. i dont see any other problems like vacuum leaks and such. the intake says it deletes the fast idle valve because there is no place for it. anyone have a clue????!!!?!??! i need help
