Long story short timing belt tensioner broke and my and the timing belt shifted and broke the cover but didn't snap this happened while I was on the highway. so I bought the parts and a put it in timing 4 times perfectly but when I start the car it turns over like there isn't any compression. Do I need a new head because I seriously doubt it's the block. Please help and Thanks in advance.

lol you will never get it right with stock parts....
the Y series motor (y7) run on a different timeing then the Z motors (z6) so with a stock cam gear you will always be a 1/2 a tooth off and there is not way to make up for a 1/2 of tooth you have to run a adjustable cam gear to make up for the 1/2 a tooth or you will never get it to run right .RIP Nick
