Hello guys thanks for looking in advance... My civic (95 eg coupe d16z6) problem 1-idles when it's at low rpm, sometimes when I put the heat on it will stop... And it usually does it at real low rpm... Then when I give a little bit of gas and get it to 1500 rpm, it's like it has a 2step or launch control, it will jump from 15 to 2000 and keep doing it like I'm about to take off lol any ideas? I do have a small exhaust leak but I didn't think that would cause it!!!
Problem 2 one day a friend was rolling my window up (pass side) and it was having a hard time going up, well instead of letting the button go, he held it.. Now the window won't move at all, I checked the fuses, I checked the motor they are both good... And it's not stuck on anything... Any ideas? Thanks again to everyone who reads and replies

I'm having the same idle issue. I changed my IACV but that didn't work. I was just about to make a thread about this.

If its breaking up (that what I think you're describing), its probably a distribution issue.

Have you checked all the wires and plugs?

Do you have a cheap air filter on the car? My Gsr sucked in the middle metal part of my air filter and it got caught in the throttle body and caused me the same issue. Probably not your problem but just something to check possibly

So I just checked the codes for my cel, and I pulled intake air temp sensor, idle air control valve, and primary oxygen sensor heater... Im gonna assume the oxygen sensor heater is because the exhaust leak? And im gonna say that other two codes are causing it to act the way it is, sound right?

I'm getting the same idle air control system malfunction. You could have a vacuum leak somewhere. That's what I think is causing mines but I'm not sure yet.

Make sure Ur wires r good on each plug happen to a friend took three hr to figure that . Iacv could be bad. Check Ur intake manifold for cracks loose bolts. If it's none of those then see if screen is clogged were the Iacv goes. It not that it could be a ecu problem. If not that Ur fuckex
