need help with shift linkage

what up ctv what's the best way to take off the '' bitch pin '' from a d series shift linkage?

Need help ctv if anybody could help me in new haven text me 2035302075 Jus need that bitch pin out .

Mines wouldn't come out so I just unbolted the linkage from the shifter and dropped the tranny. Once it's dropped you can drill the pin out and get a new one or use a bolt and lock nut as a substitute when you put it back in.

just get a punch , and a hammer, and go at it, itll pop out

one of the long ac compressor bolts that bolt it to the bracket works wonders

i keep one in my tool box seeing its the best tool

It's a pain in the ass on your back just unbolt the linkage from the shifter then just use a punch and hammer or 8mm bolt it will come right out usually if u could get a good swing on it

Definitely agree with these guys, small hammer and something to punch it through. Needle nose pliers help too so you dont mash your fingers...lots of patience and a few beers too

You need an A/C bolt with hammer. it will pop right out.
