    power went out so some kids tried to steal a car next door so i pulled the battery out my civic over night put the battery back in the morning for my wife b4 i went to work she called me sayin it kept shuttin off on her and she needed a jump ,she got a jump and while driving home the car began to idle up and down while its stop or have clutch in i thought it was the iacv but i have no cel

    1996 honda civic
    16y7 5 speed
    idk what can it be anuyone can help

      i did that already ... i read i could of resetted my ecu so i fallow some steps that the honda manual said to do but its still jumping the idle up and down

        Idk dude sounds like ur terminals are still loose take em off make sure their all the way down and tighten them up good. If all u did was take the battery out u shouldnt have any other issues.

          or by resetting the ECU brought the problem up... seen that before. Y aint u jus take out ECU?

            terminals are tight .....and it was a last min thing wasnt thinking ..... i took off the air box off and cover the iacv with my finger n it stop jumping idle thinkin i just have to remove it and clean it i think
