ok i want to noe which of the heads is better the d16z6 or the d16y8 and also is the y8 manifold better for the z6 let me hear wat u think im tryin to get as much power into my sohc as i can wit out boost im tryin to pick up a cam so thats coming soon lmk

I would do a D16z6 head on a auto Y8 manifold. Y8 manifolds are usually known as the dseries mini typeR intake manifold. They have a better airflow then the z6 manifold and has a fatter chamber and runners for air to come in your motor. Im pretty sure there are right ups somewhere about Y8 manifolds on a z6.. Or to make it even easier, just do a complete head swap with the D16y8.. Same shit really.User name is no longer in use! New User name is POGIMOTO!
