  • Valve Adjustment

What's up I need a valve adjustment. If anyone wants to give me a hand hit me. I do most of the work on my car myself but I alway have someone else do something I have never done before for me the first time I need it done so I can watch and learn after that I do it myself. I have feeler gauge some where in my crib so if you don't have some ill look for mines. I'm tryna get this done today if possible I'm located in Hamden/North haven I'm willing to drive if your not to far. I'm also willing to throw you some cash for the knowledge you let me gain.

go on youtube just to see what your adjusting and what the stuff look like and then hit honda tech to get correct specs and order procedure and such to do the job correctly. pretty easy just takes a little getting used to the feller gauge and what its soposed to feel like when its to the spec u want. the first time i did mine i had to do it a second time because they where still a little loose.

94civiccoupe I found a few write ups on it. And I'm confident I can do it on my own but I still would like it done by someone who comfortable with doing it. Also I can't seem to find my feeler gauge.

i hear ya i felt the same way the first time i did mine. advanced autoparts has feeler guages for like $10 and im sure pepboys and autozone also carry them.

I'll have to go get some if I can't find mines. I know I have another one at my job laying around some where.

Just so you know, the motor is supposed to be cold when doing it so it would be best for someone to come to you and do it after the car has been sitting overnight
