so my minime swap has been running super mint since it went in about a week and a half ago. but i went to drive it today and the battery was dead. so i took the battery out tested it and it has a bad cell ok no big deal. i wanted to play with some final clips and such with the swap so i had it running without the battery in it and when i hit the brakes the car dies. not all the time but when i come to a stop at a light or something and hit the brakes it'll die. sometimes when i let off the brakes sometimes when i hit them. i have another alternator for the car but i just wasnt sure if i should even bother changing it or just put a battery in it. i was under the impression that if the alternators good i shouldnt have to worry about it not having enough juice battery in or not cuz the alternator will sustain adequate volts to keep the car running.

Swap the alternator since you all ready have one...
then the same problem happens then change your battery..
You can just rule out those problems unless you have something just draining your

Yeah thats what i figured i assume the alternator i got on the swap is not putting out its full amps so without the battery it dosnt have enough juice to keep fan headlights or braklights all working while running.Originally posted by B13 SE-R View PostComment
