So like 6 months ago my ek threw a rod, i let the car sit and finally decided to do the swap. i ended up with a mint mini me swap for a decent price and put it in now the motor runs great, but no matter what i do i get a vacuum leak along the entire top of the intake manifold when i hit it with break clean. I used my y8 manifold because the one i got with the swap didnt have a nipple for the thermostat housing vacuum line. One is a p2k and the other is a p2p dose it matter which one i use? I got a new gasket and used a cookie wheel to clean off the remnants of the old gasket on the manifold and scrapped the head clean with a razor blade kinda stuck at this point cant seem to figure out why is leaking.

Turns out the sensor is the fia control valve for the air injection system but since im not going to be using the system i wont need it. apparently the 99-00 manifolds have the air injection built into them All the other y8 manifolds dont. It is used to send intake air to the fuel injectors when the coolant temp is below 149 degrees. I assume its to help atomize fuel for cold starts.
