Ek hatch auto to 5spd

So in order to change a auto ek to a 5spd there is no cutting involved besides drilling the. 2 holes for the shift linkage? Tranny mount is the same?

Flywheel clutch 5spd flywheel bolts, 5spd tranny bracket (only pass). I don't think I'm forgetting anything.

You need to cut off a metal shield where the shifter goes In order for the shifter to come up. If you look underneath you'll know what I'm talking about

Ya I kno everything to swap it was just making sure I didn't need to fuck withthe trannt mount and ya I was pretty sure there was a metal shield under the auto shiftter that needed to be cut

Should be. It's not big deal. U just need enough room to have the linkage go through

You need an Auto to Manual Conversion mount. I dont think a regular manual transmission mount will bolt up correctly.

Ah ok. I never did an Auto to manual on an ek. I just swapped ek's that is all.
