99 civic ex not start??? help!

I have a 99 civic ex with a 16. sohc vtec motor and wen i parked and went bak out to start my car again it would be dead. I would have to jump it ever time to drive it. i thought it was my alternator and i replaced that. it is still doing it. anyone know what else it could be????? thanks

since you dint say you checked the battery i would say battery. maybe your shorting out the battery because your power wire is hitting your shell. but i guess that will also blow out a fuse and you wont be able to turn it on everytime you boost it worth a check anyways. happened to me in my old integra.

have your battery tested for free at an autoparts store (autozone or pepboys) that will determine if it holds charge or not...

if its not the battery try cleaning or replacing terminals

check the ground to the starter... add a ground there. my girls car had the same problem, brnd new batt, starter, was good, just needed a jump start. till i put a ground from chasis to the starter and bada bing bada boom.. cracking vtec all day
