d16y8 head question

Okay ive got a 97 ek dx hatchback with the stock d16y7.. So i been looking into putting a d16y8 vtec head and im not sure if its just a bolt on and thats it or theres more to it which im sure there is so im asking

What do i need and what issues can happen?

Yes you can just bolt on. Use google next time this been annswered many many times lol

timing belt is different must match with block and cam gear also you would have to remove the oil plug on the block everything else is bolt on

Wrong...ur thinkin obd1, obd2 same timing belt no oil plug in block. Biggest issue is wiring
