it really doesnt matter which block point is ur sleeving so obviously ur doing a piston rod setup plus sleeves now on the size piston is up to u find a respectable builder that can guide u thru what choices u want to make and now if u going high boost 400plus id get manley rods if not id stay with eagel rods and what ever piston u prefer and the build also matter on size turbo u go with big boost big hp! u need upgraded wrist pins ! so find a machine shop that sleeves and theyll help u i went to northeast machining in hartford talk to mike or chris excellent work they built my lsv sleeved the whole nine only thing they take a long time so if in a rush i wouldnt go but if u have some months to spear here pretty gd

I only like Manley rods, cuz Sohc rods are the thickness of a toothbrush to begin with so I wouldn't want to skimp out there, It's just pistons is what I need to think about.. As for turbo I have a Garrett gt35r available but I'm thinking that might be overkill?

A y8 has a shitty oil pump an only one hole in the crank per rod journal so oil is always an issue well lack there of, so people usually run a full blown z6 or a 6 block with z6 head the blocks are te same
