What's up guys. Got a eg four door. Ibought it automatic wit a blown headgasket so ised eff it and bought another motor and decided to convert the car to standard. Igot everything already engine tranny axels ecu shift linkage. But everyones telling me ineed an auto to manual tranny mount do finish the conversion. Can someone help me out? Do ineed tht mount? And is there n e thing else ishould know? Any opiniions and anwsers would be appreciated.

They do sell a drop mount off ebay, cheapest way is to cut the bracket out of a 5 speed EG or 94-01 integra. You need to get the bracket off the frame of one of those cars, so drill out the spot welds holding it to the frame then use a air chisel or hammer and chisel to peel it off of the frame. Use the same strategy to peel the old bracket off of your 4 door eg.. And another thing, when u are installing your new mount, dont slap it in the position as you old one, put ur tranny and everything back together and then line up where the mount/bracket belong (the new bracket should sit closer to the radiator on the frame, only by a couple inches)
