  • what kind of single cam v motor to use!?

    k guys I want any experience and/or comments with dealin with single cam motors, I wanna go single cam turbo and trying to,find out whats the best combination of head, block, tranny. lmk what you guys know! thanks

    ur gonna get alotta shit for askin broad questions like that but as i see here ur new, and i was also there in your shoes, what kind of power do u want and whats ur budget is what it all comes down to

      hey not everyone knows evverything. power? decent nothing too crazy, I jus wanna have some fun. im not trying to be street king here. budget ehh I know I can get a decent block amd tranny for a about from 300-600. im thinking around 1000 cuz of all the upgrades ima have to do to the block tof turbo it. like I said any advice will be appreciated

          also u dont need to upgrade the block to be abe to turbo it, u can keep it stock and still make plenty of power to have some fun

                      y8 heads cams are bearing z6 block got better oil pressure vitara pistons are low compression they fit plus are forged and the rods to be on the safe side

                          z6 is the best block it has the best crank and oil pressure as stated. you can use a z6 head too imo its just as good if you're building it anyways. and z6 tranny or they sell plates so you can go d2b and have a b series tranny

                            bump this im in the same boat i got a mint d16y8 wit 89xxx on it i wanna go turbo wit and im gonna leave it stock i just want something to have alil fun wit and not spend mor than 1000 to 15 on the turbo kit and a few minor upgrades to have it runnin good
