  • D15b7 surging problem... plz help been without my car for 3 months

    i have a 94 civic lx just had the whole engine rebuilt at 350k miles... for some reasing its surging between 1 and 2and a half at a good rate.. bled coolant over and over.. changed iac valve.. tps sensor.. dizzy.. o2 sensor... ecu... everything .. the last thing my mechanic has to do is gonna try changing the wiring harness... there is no cel on nothing if wiring harness dont work thats the last thing we know to do... if anyone knows wat it could b or could help plz pm me... respond here.. or even text me 860-455-6091... thanks ctvtec

    look at the intake manifold gasket for a vacume leak also the throttle body gasket and the pcv valve.

      Ehh gl not what mine was doing but I fixed it with s new coolant temp sensor ur probably it might be ur tps nd map sensor plugs backwards

        all of those gaskets are new also lol... thanks tho if there was a vaccum leak would cel come on?

          o cel for a leak but if you missed one little part of the old gasket and it did not seal it will make it leak or if you put the wrong gasket it will leak to

              Good luck. Vaccum leak is a definite possibility too.

                My 94 ex 4dr, and hatch have the same problem and still can't figure it out. Im going to try replacing the throttle body gasket

                              take off the intake so u have access to the throttle body start the car put ur finger over the lower hole inside ur throttle body if it stops the surging u have a problem with ur fast idle air control valve which is located on the bottom of ur throttle body
