K so I got a 97 ek coupe ex ,one day I was drivin it and the battery just died outta nowhere so I charge it,put it back on ,drove it again it lasted me like 10 min,(battery was fully charged) battery died again,so I got a brand new alternator and alternator belt,installed it wit another fully charged battery,lasted me 10 min,shyt died again,idk do I need a brand new battery or wat,idk I checked all fuses 2 wat could it be?

^^ usually when you charge the battery , autozone can tell you if the battery is good or not .

Is your check engine light on? is your speedo not working?

Even if it was the battery the alt should keep it running and it shouldn't die. Maybe you put in a bad alt. Test it and your battery too

This happen to me wit my Orange hatchi bro, my battery kept dieing, bought a new 1 that died to, come to find out the alternator had a bad wire conection. Rewired it, and no more problem.

I had this issue...bad engine harness...it shorted on the bracket that connects the intake mani to the block.

Yea I dont remember if I had a cel but I know my speedo didn't work...my harness def got fried tho...nice n crispy I had to re wire half of it lol

damn that stinks bro. all i had to do was tape up the exposed wire and it was straight. the speedo doesnt work because the speedo and alternator are on the same fuse #15
