  • 94 civic won't start

    Today im driving then all of a sudden the car loses power then shuts off. I checked the fuel pump seems to be working and I also changed the main relay idk what else it could be pls help

    Coil? Happens all the time check if u have spark

      Check your plugs and wires. Sounds like you need a tune up

        Like I said coil my moms joint quit on here while she was driving nd it was a coil

          Could be your alternator is shot or alternator belt could have broken or is beat.

            Spark and wires are fine when I put starter fluid the car starts fine then shuts off

                  U just said u put starter fluid nd it starts fine so just buy lots of it nd keep doing what u did

                    Starting fluid will help it start but it won't keep it running. If you say you plus and wires are good check your cap and rotor too

                        Could be bad gas or something post a vid I can't help u if I don't see what's happening

                            my 94 coupe had the same problem.. first check all your grounds and clean them up. My problem ended up being the ignition switch. had to change that shit twice. Some times they just get fried i guess. maybe u can be having the same issue
