stock d16 turbo

i see it in vids all the time, stock d16's running 11's on 20psi. they claim to be stock motors or maybe have arp head studs but i wanted some input on here from someone whos actually done it. how much boost can you safely run on a stock single cam? ready.... shoot!

if ur talkin about the epic tunings ef si hatch yes its stock on 20psi but it is all wheel drive i have seen the car in person at there shop

On a vitara build is very possible on stock sleeves but think about it not gonna last forever

U can do it just find a nasty tunner and some arp head studs...and tha worst case it blows up u can get a block for 100 lol thats why i love singles

They run 20 psi on race gas not pump. U can run 11 psi on a stock motor and daily it but motor has to be strong not dying .

well race gas would raise compression making it more prone to fucking up internatls. but for everyone else yes i love single cams for that reason theyre so cheap and cheap to build. i have a b18a1 right now and i was just seeing if anyone thought singles held boost better than dohc. thanks tho love the input

i run a sohc turbo hatch at 5psi but my boy is runin hes at 16psi on a stock motor been doin it for 2month and wen i sold him tha motor had 156k lol

Race gas keeps the inside of the motor a lot cooler that's y shit doesn't break never heard of gas making ur compression go up that's a new one to me put ur stock single on 20 psi and let me know what happened I'm certain its gonna go boom
