  • White smoke!?!?!?!?!?! maldita sea!

D16Y7... stock no mods to engine... header back exhaust & intake only...
    New plugs...New oil & filter...

:mad:So, I've been reading around.... Seems that I might have a blown headgasket... A little history... I had my car sitting for about 5 months...
when I fixed the reason why I had iot sitting I noticed my idle was going up and down like if it was revving. So, I cleaned out my IACV and it
fixed the up and down but now it idles high. Yesterday, I started it up to keep it fresh and I noticed a lot of white smoke coming out of my exhaust.
This never happened before so now I'm worried I have a blown head gasket. Just so you know while the car sat all of the coolant evaporated and while I was trying to fix my idle problem I also tried to bleed the coolant. I did see a few bubbles. My question is how do I know for a fact, 100%, without a doubt that my head gasket is shot?

              update...
so i worked on it a little trying to figure out if in fact my headgasket went or not...
white smoke lasted a couple days... checked coolant and it seems fine I did have to put a little in and I do mean just a little... no more smoke at all... i need to bleed my coolant though there's air in thier i think that what my idle issues are all about...
so it looks like i don't have a blown head gasket since the car no longer blows white smoke... who knows... anyway thanks to those who offered some help and/or any suiggestions...
