im tryna swap a z6 in my ek i need to know what i need to do to run this motor
i have the obd2a harness and i have the p28 ecu with jumper harness from obd2a to obd1

im doing this exact same swap in my boys ek.

i swapped out the manifold, the starter, and the altenator, and put a ex harness in the ek.

but the motor still wont turn on. im thinking we need a new dizzy if thats not the problem then i have no idea what else to do.

hmmmm im almost positive you need the obd1 dizzy also is the engine harness the original 0bd2 ex harness

96+ have a crank sensor on the oil pump that the z6 didn't have if you want it to be a factory plug and play swap that will pass emissions you need to swap oil pump and gear so you will have mounting tabs for the sensor

you dont need to swap out any oil pumps or sensors i told ya to text me man i would walk you threw it ... run the stock EX obd2 ecu and you need to bypass the factory crank sensor.

as for you dizzy fitment issues all you need to do it run the z6 diz and repin the plug and out the obd2 plug on to it and you done another 10 min fix.

and that is all you need to make it all work so simple.

U need a jumper to the dizzy u can make 1 like I did
