ZC swap issue

A couple months ago, I swapped my friends ZC into my rex. Before the swap both cars ran perfectly. After the swap was complete, the rex ran but smoked like a bitch, then all of a sudden the timing belt starts rubbing like crazy on the cover and destroys the belt. So i tow it home and pull thehead to fix the smoking problem and i checked all the valves and all to be safe, everything checks out. so i put it all back together and time it and now the car will not idle at all, and will only stay running if you stay on the throttle, and it smells like its dumping gas.
Any ideas?

are your map sensor and tps plugs plugged in backwards? Meaning you have your map sensor plugged into your tps and your tps into your map sensor? It's a very common mistake and would cause the car to do what your explaining.

I could see that if it didnt run when i first swapped it, but it ran fine till the belt blew and i had to replace it

they are known to go swap it and try if not and if it acted up after the belt then the belt is wrong

but im positive the belt is correct
