Ok so my cousin bought 2 honda civics.
The fist car is a 2000 ex coupe with a d16y8 auto tranny with a blown motor
donor car was a 97 civic with a d16y7 5 speed with a rusted out body
So he pulled the motor out of the 97 and put it in the 2000 tranny and all. he converted the car to a 5 speed. The only thing he did was he had to splice was the wires together on the neutral safety switch .
Now it cranks over but wont start he checked for power at the fuel pump no power.
where is the main relay?
the other thing is it wont let him take his key out unless he disconnects the battery. how can this be fixed?
Is this the symptoms of a main relay going bad?
what else could it be?
