  • d15b8 help...

    so im new to this whole scene
    i just bought a 1994 civic cx hb about a month ago :D
    i love the car to death but its so slow...
    its got the stock d15 in it and idk what to do

    id like to swap it but i dont really kno what to get
    any ideas or tips?

    also i was wondering if i could just slap a vtech head on it for now? like until i get the cash for a swap?

    yeah you could slap the vtec head on it and run it like that for now

        oh yeah you go to wire up vtec and you need a vtec ecu get a nice p28 minimal stuff but done correctly it will work out just fine

                  ls is ok now every1 upgraded to h2b b18c/c5 k20a/a2 or b18 turbo ext.....alot of ppl have ls's in there cars...u will get a good bang for the buck

                      if u just need a lil more power a vtec head should be good

                        once you start youll find out is hard to stop. when you get into changing this and that before u know it you have spent over 1500 to 2300 cash easy... trust. first make a plan do u just want more power and thats it or are u going to see something you like better and then change, thats when it stats adding up. make your plan and then start collecting parts before u know it u have a full set up with out even swapping engines. to the 1.5 you cand add a v-tec head, you can add a small turbo and have great power and still have a dd driver. just make sure that what u are doing is what u and only u want to do.;)
