          put honda manual trannsmisson fluid in it and a bottle of lucas. what oil do u have in there now besides the lucas? shiftlinkage bushings could be shot. do the little things first if they dont work buy a new tranny. even advance autoparts reccomends honda tranny fluid and 10w 30 as a temporary allternative

                double check the linkage again. the universal joint or shifter might have some slop in it. also look at the shifter bushings. if all of that is tight id say bad/ bent forks maybe. draing it out and run some synchromesh in it. see if it smootsh it out some
