ok so heres the question i have a d16y8 in my 96 ex and as of lately im hearing this squeaky noise from my engine bay when the car is in idle, it seems like it might have been getting just slightly louder within the past 3 weeks, but its like every time the engines makes a rotation or something its like squeak squeak squeak lol, i have no clue what this could be, might it be a valve that nees adjusting? or squeaky belt? any one that has delt with this before or can shed any light on this that would be a huge help, thanks

probably something stupid like a loose mount. make sure everything is tight. if you havent done it since you've owned the car id do a timing belt and tensioner just cuz its cheap and easy.

sounds like a belt , a valve adjustment would sound more like a clicking
