  • lower vtec on turbo z6?

    i was wonderin if i shld lower the vtec engage point to spool up for turbo? HAVE A Z6 with skunk2 in/m aem fuel rail, tb28 turbo. ive heard diff sides. some say lower it and it falls on face. let me knw ctvtec

    nah just add a 100 shot to spool it faster lol.

        A good ported and built head will help spool that turbo way better then changing the vtec.
        You got a bigger intake manifold that will serve it's purpose when you port that biotch.
        That's just my opinion.

          leave it at 5.5 and set ur shift at 8.2 and ur good ..

              put it at 2k. that way it'll spool the fuck outta the turbo.

                Speak to a tuner and see what they say that would be the best advice anyone could give you.

                also i dont think spinning a single to 8.2 is really a good idea. They have loose valve springs, spinning one that high is a really good chance for valve float without aftermarket valve springs.
