    My d16z6 is misfiring Badly! everytime i rev the car it wont pass 2000 rpm's... im thinkin its the distributor...maybe even the fuel pump idk i need sugestions! n i dont have anything to read a code since the c.e.l is on..

    Read your codes:

    1st you have to find the electrical connector behind the ECU. You will then use a jumper wire to connect the two wires going into the connector, and the CEL will blink the code to you.

    It is easier if you unbolt the ECU, and move it to the side. The blue connector is stuck into a green rubber holder, and you can use some needle nose pliers to pull that sucker outta there.


    Stick your jumper wire in there.

    Turn the ignition, but do not turn the engine on. Long blinks are 10's, and short blinks are 1's.

    The look in the technical section and see what the codes are.

        hey man sounds like my peoblem i get code 43 and runs like dog ************.. this was after a y8 swap..

          thats ok i'm getting a knock sensor code on my d16z6 which doesn't have a knock sensor lol.. silly obd2 harness and ecu is being more trouble then its worth.
