bring it to midas or somewhere and have em use their impact gun to break em loose. Then tighten em with a breaker bar, drive it home and start over. I had the same problem I ended up taking off the whole spindle / axle as 1 piece and bring it to meineke and having them loosen it.

lol go get a brand new breaker bar from sears, put a punch in the rotor to stop it from turning then put the break bar on and put the jacks extended pipe all the way over the breaker bar and stand on it moving up and down.. this has never failed me and ls vtec tighten the fuckkk out of my old coupes nut took atleast 1h 30m

I used one of these to tighten it.

everything that everyone up here said works good but if all else fails....use a good ole fashion chisel and hammr or even a drill with a nice bit then just chip the old nut off peice by peice...your changin the axel anyway so u dont have to worry about the thread...just make sure to go at it with the wheel off..lol!

this will also work great to take it off with w pipe on the handle!! its so short and solid the only thing that could possibly break is the gear inside...now if that breaks on this type of ratchet..WOW!!
